The Boys & Girls Club is a safe place for kids that is supervised by paid professionally trained staff who offer fun and engaging programs for Club members at an affordable price. The Clubs offer a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of various ages and interests, such as leadership development and volunteering opportunities, homework help, computers, games, sports, dance, swimming, photography, arts and crafts, discussion groups, college prep, youth employment, movie making and delinquency prevention.

The range of Club programs, activities and services include educational support, tutoring, mentoring, career counseling, computer training, fine arts, athletics, after-school programming, and meals.

The Clubhouse at 1615 Illinois St is open Monday-Friday between 2:30pm and 6:30pm. The Club @ BJHS is open from 2:45pm – 6:30pm and Teen CLUB is Tuesday and Friday nights from 6:30pm – 9pm. All Clubs following the schedule of District 87, when they are not in session, the Club is closed.

Registration is free for Junior High and High School members.

Yes. The Clubhouse is open for members entering 1st – 5th grade Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm in June and July. The cost for this program is $25 per week. The Club @ BJHS is open from 10am – 2pm Monday – Friday for the month of June. This program is free. We also have a Junior Leaders program as well as Teen CLUB throughout June and July.

While supervised opportunities do exist for mentoring, role-modeling, and more, the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal is fortunate to have program areas designed specifically for pre-teen and teen members. They may share common spaces for meals and snacks.

The Club serves more than 1,600 members, families and other youth throughout the year.

The Club, an independent non-profit organization, relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations who donate money as well as time, expertise and knowledge.

The Club has alums numbering in the thousands, living locally and across the country. Today, many Club alums are involved in assisting the Club through service on boards and committees and through financial support.
